I am in the mountains of Spain as you read this, in La Vall de Nuria, or Nuria Valley, a beautiful spot in the Pyrenees, hiking and enjoying nature.
I will be going to Croatia in a couple of days to scout our newest trip addition, our sailing trip set to launch in 2027.

We have a new logo! After 6 years with our previous one, we decided to update our identity and change it for a cleaner, easier to read one while keeping the pink paper plane that is iconic of Solo Female Travelers
We have not launched all of our 2027 trips yet, but the calendar has the dates already so you can save the time, plan and start asking for time off :)
Our podcast this week is all about Antarctica. I speak with Lori, an expert expedition leader who shares all her knowledge to help you plan your trip. Our 2026 December trip is full, but we will launch our next 2028 trip soon, so join the waitlist if you'd like to come on that one!
We have been running it since 2024 and have connected many women to the beauty and heart of this Mexican region, and to the heartfull women who call it home while keeping traditions, crafts and ancestral knowledge alive.
Our Oaxaca trip embodies everything that we stand for at Solo Female Travelers:
Ethical, sustainable and community-centred tourism where the host communities not only have a say but decide how and what they share with us. They take the lead, we simply facilitate the connection, one that is done with love and a heart full.
Long term commitment to the land and its people, supporting small producers, artisans, chefs and the knowledge they hold and choose to share with us, which has been passed down from generations.
A 100% female focused and led experience with over 19 women opening their homes and studios to us, a female transportation company, a female owned hotel, and of course, a local female host. This trip is entirely in support of women owned projects from beginning to end.

We have a new logo!
When we launched Solo Female Travelers in May 2020 we did not think about ours or about our logo going that far.
We launched a website to share tips and advice, but there were no grander plans to launch a tour company that would take over 2,500 different women on 170 trips around the world.
What we did not anticipate is for our logo to be printed, embroidered and used outside its digital footprint.
6 years later, it is time to update our identity, clarify what we stand for, who we are and refine our colors and logo.
Today, we are excited to announce our new identity.
It may not seem like a huge departure from the previous one, but it is cleaner, clearer and more stylish. It is also easier to read, print, embroider, and use.
We have kept our pink color as an accent on the website, and our pink paper plane as the iconic symbol that differentiates us from other companies.
We know there is a lot of confusion out there, and we often receive emails from guests who think they booked with us, when they have booked with other similarly looking or sounding companies.
We hope the pink will continue to represent us and sets us apart from other women focused and other travel companies and that you will like the new logo as much as we do!

We have not launched all of our 2027 trips yet, but we have added all the dates we already know so you can save the date and set aside your holiday time.
This week's episode with Lori, an Antarctica expert, made me so excited for our trip in December mostly because...penguins!
We talk about how Antarctica is kept pristine and well preserved, the rules and regulations that preserve it and how to plan a trip.
It's overwhelming enough to get started, I know because I spent a lot of time searching for the right expedition for our group, so I hope this podcast episode helps you plan yours.
