Our 2027 Australia tour is live!
β
This is a special trip like no other that we have especially curated for our community.
Many companies offer tours to Australia, but none have anything as filled with so many amazing one of a kind experiences, time with wildlife and outdoors, fabulous hotels and women-led activities as we do. Best of all, Meg will be there to show you her country.
You're in for a real treat if you travel with us to the land of Down under!β β
Dates in 2027: 10 β 21 October, the perfect time to make the most of each destination: Not too hot in Uluru, dry in the Great Barrier Reef, spring time weather in Sydney and Melbourne.
Itinerary: Click here to see the full day by day itinerary on our tour page. β
This is a trip of a lifetime where we will explore 4 different parts of Australia. The two very different cities of Sydney and Melbourne, one multi-cultural center of business and expats and the other the art and alternative capital of Australia, filled with creatives, a fun bar scene and perhaps the best coffee in the southern hemisphere.
We will also head into the Outback, where Australia's indigenous culture thrives and the most incredible experiences await.
We can't leave Australia without a healthy dose of Vitamin Sea, so we have planned a full day out at the Great Barrier Reef, a day in Bondi Beach and 2 nights at a fabulous beachfront hotel in Cairns, right next to where Meg lives.
Here are the highlights and some of the photos Meg and I have taken from our trips in Australia:
Sydney's multiculturalism
β
Australia's expat capital is a melting pot of cultures. We will take our time to learn more about its heritage and the many waves of migration that have infused it with so much cultural richness.
We'll start with a walking tour of the city center to discover the many landmarks (the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge) by the hand of a woman-focused and feminist-led tour guide who will center the story of the city around the women who made it possible.
In the afternoon, we will venture into the thriving neighbourhood of Chinatown to learn more about the South and Far East Asian cultural influence through a walking food tour.
Bondi's beach life
β
Nothing says Sydney summer like a day out at the beach. We'll walk from Bronte to Bondi along the beach and then spend the day with Bondi's famous lifeguards and at the iconic Icebergs pools.
We will stop for a chat at the Bronte Surf Life Saving Club with female lifesavers who will tell you more about the organization, the challenges and the progress women made in this field.
We will also have lunch with the most iconic views over Bondi at the famous Icebergs, with some time to take a dip if you dare.
Blue Mountains
β
We'll go on a full day out in the Blue Mountains for great landscapes, nature, waterfalls and hikes in this easy day trip from Sydney. Think quaint rural cafes, great views and time in the forest hiking among nature will be everything you need to complement Sydney's sea and urban feel.
When you think of Australia, it's probably the kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, penguins and other cute animals that pop to mind.
We will have plenty of that with kangaroo spotting opportunities across the trip, the penguin parade exclusive experience and the koala conservation boardwalks at Phillip Island.
Ask Meg about the many wild animals that she meets around her house every week! π§π¦π¨ π π’
Great Barrier Reef
β
Australia's marine diversity at its best on our day trip to the islands of the Great Barrier Reef with snorkeling, SUP, turtle conservation and beach time.
Snorkle in crystal clear waters, sunbathe in a gorgeous beach and enjoy a day at sea.
Uluru
β
No matter how many photos or videos you see of Uluru, nothing will prepare you for the real-life experience of being in the middle of the red Australian Outback, seeing the sun set and rise on the largest monolithic rock in the world. We'll go hiking, have an incredible dinner on a private sand dune and enjoy the magic of the Field of Lights installation. Nothing compares to the other-worldly clear sky against the red sand.
While Sydney is the country's multi-cultural capital, Melbourne is Australia's creative, hipster, coffee-culture and street art destination. So we will do just that: A history walking tour followed by a street art and bar scene evening with local female guides exploring the colorful alleys and enjoying drinks and nibbles.
Wineries of the Yarra Valley
β
Wineries are always part of our tours, because we love a good glass of wine in great company and wonderful views. Australia couldn't be the exception!
We'll spend a day out in the award-winning Yarra Valley wine region visiting a famous sparkling wine winery for a blending experience and bubbly brunch and a female owned winery to taste the local cool-climate wines. In between, we'll indulge in some great food and wine and leave Australia on a high note.
Female-powered and led
β
The tour will be hosted by Meg, our Co-Founder, Aussie expert and Cairns local. All the activities that are part of the tour will also be led by local women, and you'll meet many Australian female entrepreneurs, chefs, guides and business owners along the way.
