I hope you are doing well.
I am still thinking of our Japan trip 2 weeks ago. It's hard to forget the many spiritual and really intentional activities we participated in.
In the moment, as the co-host of the trip, I was making sure everyone was ok and all was going great, so I was not as present as I would have loved to be, but re-looking at the photos and sorting out all the media, I have been able to fully appreciate it.

Our 2027 Tanzania tours are live! This trip of a lifetime will take you close to wildlife and the most incredible sunsets, sunrises and night skies.
The third episode of our podcast is live! This week we are talking to Alice about her incredible slow adventures across the world, from cycling the length of Africa to crossing Saudi Arabia on foot. Tanzania safari + Zanzibar 2027

Tanzania is the only destination that we offer in two levels of luxury:
Luxe
Value
The difference between the two is the category of the lodges, hotels and resorts we stay at (4* or 5*) and the accommodation plan (full board, half board or all inclusive).
This is the second destination we ever launched back in 2021 and we just couldn't decide on the level of luxury our guests would prefer, so we decided to offer two options so you can choose how much to splurge.
Next year will be the 7th year we run these tours and they have been a favorite of our travelers ever since with over 250 women joining us in Tanzania alone ๐ฆ ๐ฆ ๐ Whoa!

These are exclusive women-only trip hosted by our local super star guide Glory and up to 2 other female safari guides, including 1 in training.
They will take you on an amazing wildlife and beach adventure as one of the very few female guides and drivers in the country.
They know how to make every trip memorable with their fun, friendly and super knowledgeable guiding super power, able to spot wildlife without other cars around.

Value trip: 27 August to 6 September, 2027 (Great Migration) and 24 September to 4 October, 2027 (Great Migration)
Who: maximum of 12 women mostly coming solo. Female friends and family members welcome too.
Below are some of the things that make these trips special.
The Big 5

Tanzania is home to 20% of Africa's wildlife population and the combination of the parks in Tanzania's northern golden triangle, Lake Manyara / Tarangire National Park + Ngorongoro Crater + Serengeti National Park, is the best chance of seeing the Big 5 plus so many other animals in big numbers and from very close distance.
We always see: large prides of lions, cheetah and cheetah cubs, large families of elephants, huge numbers of impala, gazelle, zebra and wildebeest, leopards (typically hanging out on trees), huge groups of hippos chilling in the river, warthogs, giraffes, eland, birds, buffalo, rhinos (recently spotted close by at Ngorongoro Crater), flamingos, and more.
Our guides are experts at spotting wildlife and have contacts across the park to help track where they are. Early morning, Glory always calls all her ranger and tour guide friends to know where the large pride of lions or elephant family are so the group can go find them.
Her and the rest of the guides, are passionate about helping you see all the animals, in the peace and quiet.
The Great Migration or shoulder season

You chose when to visit.
Great migration: Imagine thousands of zebra and wildebeest all together and maybe crossing the Mara River. It's incredible to see in real life. Our September and October tours are schedule when this phenomenon happens in Tanzania and we will spend 2 nights in the part of the Serengeti where this takes place, this makes the trips 1 night longer than those outside of the season. While this is never guaranteed, our chance is good.
Shoulder season: Avoid the crowds, the heat and the dust of the summer peak season by traveling during the very first week of the shoulder season in November. We will enjoy far fewer crowds (no 50 cars staring at the same lion cubs), and the occasional quick shower to clear the air and bring the temperatures down.
Make no mistake, our Value tour is not a budget tour, we still stay at 4* properties, it is just that some of the luxury hotels, resorts and lodges in Tanzania are well over the top.
On our Luxe trip, we will sleep in a tented safari camp on stilts with incredible views over the Serengeti plains and enjoy the views from the infinity pool. We will stay in a coffee plantation in Arusha where each room is in it own individual cottage. In Ngorongoro, we will sleep in a beautiful farm with thatched 3-room cottages and in Zanzibar we will split our time between the Park Hyatt Zanzibar, the most upscale hotel in Stone Town, and Zuri Beach, the island's most stylish beach resort (trust me, I visited all the 5* properties so can speak to that).
On our Value trip, we will spend time in a new and beautiful colonial hotel in Arusha, the only entirely female owned and run tented camp in the Serengeti that is owned by Glory, a working coffee farm outside Ngorongoro Crater and a great 5* beach resort in Zanzibar, on a pretty sandy stretch.

All inclusive or full board, your choice

Our Luxe trip to Tanzania is full board in Zanzibar and all inclusive while on safari, that means that alcoholic drinks are included during meals and typically after we return from the day's safari. Because a G&T on safari is a MUST to keep the mosquitoes at bay ;)
On our Value trip, we will be on full board basis on safari, without alcoholic drinks included (though there is Happy hour at the lodge every evening), and half-board in Zanzibar, so you can choose how to spend the day and venture outside the resort for activities.
100% Female-powered

Female safari driver-guides who take guests across the country and drivers are exceedingly rare in Tanzania (probably fewer than 10 among the thousands of male guides).
By booking with us you will be supporting female guides and continuing our efforts to provide employment opportunities to women so we can shape the travel industry in the country to be a more equitable one.
In our group will also be a guide in training who is working to become a fully qualified guide. We bring more women to the industry through our tours and you can be a part of that effort by traveling with us.

After a long career in the media including years at the forefront of the BBC News and as the CEO of her own media company, Alice left it all behind to set of on incredible adventures spanning continents and multiple months.
She filmed an expedition on foot from Morocco to Timbuktu for the BBC, walked across Morocco, cycled from Cairo to Cape Town and most recently, became the first person to walk the length of Saudi Arabia.
