Hi Reader,
Welcome to September!
It's still officially summer in the northern hemisphere, but most Europeans are back at work and summer holidays seem to be over.
This is the best month to travel across most of Europe, along with June, so we are returning to Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Iceland, and Georgia, like every year, to enjoy the grape harvest season, the last warm days and the quieter towns.
I am currently in Georgia, and you can follow our trip in Instagram stories. If you like what you see, book your spot for 2026 here.

๐ฉ On this week's email:
- There are still 4 months left to 2025, but I am already getting excited for 2026 and the many trips I will go on, plus the magical moments our guests will experience.
- The trips that are selling fast for 2026
Most exciting moments of 2026
It's the little things that we all remember the most when traveling;
Laying on the sand dunes in the remote deserts of Sudan and making wishes to shooting stars on the clear sky.
The rooftop sunset views in Barcelona with a crisp glass of sangria and your best friend.
The first time trying durian, freshly picked from a tree, to the cracking laughs of everyone else.
The silly poses in a waterfall in Bali while it's drizzling down and there is nobody else around.
A barefoot walk on the white sand beach of Zanzibar as the sun comes up.
The Northern Lights dancing outside the plane window for 20 minutes on the way to Iceland.
The golden glow of a sunset in the Amalfi Coast, and the fishing boats swinging with the waves.
The laughter and dancing to the tune of traditional songs with a local grandma in the Greek island of Tinos.
Singing our lungs out at the back of a ship in Greece, as the sun sets on the horizon.
A late night glass of wine in the garden of our Tuscany country hotel, listening to the crickets and the cicadas and dreaming about future plans.
Hearing local women sharing their struggle for independence in Georgia, and joining them on a peaceful march.
Shedding tears while listening to a Sami yoik by a reindeer herder inside her teepee in the Swedish Arctic.
Feeling the sound of silence on a sunrise walk of the sacred Uluru, in Australia, and spotting rock paintings and nature waking up.
So many more...

Travel, for me, has always been made of the little moments that make for big memories.
Looking at 2026, there are so many special moments I am excited for:
- Seeing the sakura (cherry blossom) leaves falling from the trees in bloom with the wind on our inaugural trip to Japan next Spring. I have been to Japan for sakura before so I know how special this is and I can't wait to share it with others because I know they will feel like in a fairytale, despite the crowds.
- The cooking class with a Japanese grandmother who will teach us about medicinal recipes to heal body and soul. I met her in April and was very touched by her presence and aura, she left me feeling at peace and her hand made matcha tea was wonderful. I could go on about Japan because almost every minute of the trip will be very very special...
- Swimming with dolphins, sea lions, mantas, penguins, sharks and millions of fish in the Galapagos. It was absolutely magical to be in the water so close to them earlier in the year and I am so excited to do this again. Sea lions are curious and playful, and can swim extremely fast, just like penguins and dolphins, no way to follow them. Sharks float effortlessly.
- Taking groups on our Bali tour which is the only way to explore the island. Sadly, some parts have become the poster child of miss-managed tourism so it makes my heart happy that so many guests choose to let us take them away from the crowded and fake spots to get to the beautiful heart of Bali with our warm host Henni.
- The power and sense of accomplishment all our guests feel at the top of Kilimanjaro, on International Women's Day. Tears pour down their cheeks, the culmination of a life worth of challenges, worries, trauma and failures comes to the surface for everyone, and they are reborn on the way down. Watch this mini documentary our photo/video editor made this year. I can't promise you will not cry.
- Returning to Antarctica, the last continent, with a group of women who will see the most adorable and funny penguins, the breathtaking landscapes, the endless glaciers, the neon blue icebergs, and the whales bridging for the first time. I know this will be a trip of a lifetime and coming back, the opportunity to glide on a kayak among whales and penguins, is a gift.
- Being able to take guests to Cuba, despite the many challenges the country is going through and the incredible amount of misinformation. Cuba needs tourism because this is the only source of income for many Cubans, and I know that every guest who visits with us understand how important their vacation investment is and the difference it makes, not to mention how heart warming and just plain fun our trip is. Cuba is one of my most favorite places to visit and I know just how special a trip is.
- The temazcal ritual in Oaxaca, a deeply spiritual and meaningful experience even for those who are not spiritual, like me. Oh and the many home made meals by Zapotec gradnmas we meet during the trip, the secret ingredient that cannot be replicated is always love and it always makes me so happy...
- Seeing Patagonia and the Mendoza wine region in Argentina in January, as I scout the new tour we will launch as a follow up to Antarctica. I have been to Argentina before and loved it, so it will be great to explore these other parts of the country. Join the waitlist if you're keen to visit Argentina.
- Going back to French Polynesia to explore the islands I have not seen (Mo'orea, Taha'a) and returning to the ones I have, Tahiti and Bora Bora, as we prepare our tour for 2027. I love the South Pacific, it is my favorite part of the world and I cannot wait to return after 6 years. Join the waitlist and stop waiting to get married to visit :)

Last week's photo
The skyline of Dubrovnik is characteristic of the small walled city that takes center stage in Game of Thrones, which catapulted it into stardom.
We start our Croatia & Montenegro tour here and despite the crowds at peak hours because of cruise ships, the early mornings and evenings are wonderful.
